Maximilian Kulenkampff studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Gonville & Caius College in Cambridge, UK, from 2011 to 2016.
He completed his legal clerkship in employment and labour law at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg in 2019 with stages at the Hamburg Regional Labour Court and at CMS Hasche Sigle, employment and labour law Department.
After being admitted to the bar by the Hanseatic Bar Association in July 2019, he initially worked in the employment and labour law team of the international commercial law firm Allen & Overy LLP before joining SCHRAMM MEYER KUHNKE in May 2020. In 2023, Maximilian Kulenkampff obtained his doctorate in law with a thesis on working time law ("Objective, reliable and accessible time recording systems - design options and implementation requirements").
Since 2024, Maximilian Kulenkampff is listed in the ranking of leading German employment and commercial lawyers of Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers in category “Ones to Watch” in the field of employment and labour law.
